Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Temperature may remain nearly unchanged over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions.

The highest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 28.8 degrees in Kutubdia.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 27.9 degrees.
