Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur while the lowest temperature at 24.0 degrees in Kutubdia.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at

34.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and the lowest was

27.7 degrees.
