Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions over the country in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur of Rangpur while the lowest temperature at 24.4 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.2 degrees.
