Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajgonj, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, Patua-khali and Bhola.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Rangpur while the lowest temperature at 23.8 degrees in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 33.0 degrees Celsius on (Monday) and the lowest was 28.0 degrees.
