Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions until 06:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Mongla of Khulna while the lowest temperature 17.8 degrees Celsius in Tentulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 23.3 degrees.
