Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places until 06:00 pm today (Thursday), according to the Met office.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius in Kumarkhali of Kushtia while the lowest temperature 20 degrees Celsius in Hatiya of Chattogram.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 22 degrees.
