Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Dhaka and Barishal divisions over the country 6:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met office.

Prevailing heat wave may abate from some places over northern and northeastren part of the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded at 39.6 degrees Celsius in Chudanga while the lowest temperature 24 degrees Celsius in Tentulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 37.3 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 29.2 degrees.
