Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur over the country 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met office.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue. The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda of Chattogram while the lowest temperature 22.1 degrees Celsius in Dimla of Rangpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.3 degrees.
