Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24:00 hours from 06:00 am today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

It also may occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga while the lowest temperature at 24.7 degrees in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Monday and the lowest was 28.4 degrees.
