Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in Rangpur while the lowest temperature at 24.7 degrees in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 28.4 degrees.
