Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 33.7 degrees Celsius in Tetulia while the lowest temperature at 24.0 degrees in Rangamati and Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 26.3 degrees.
