Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met office.

Day and night temperature may rise by (1-3)°C over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat of Rangpur while the lowest temperature 24 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.1 degrees.
