Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the districts of Rajshahi, Natore, Pabna, Sirajganj, Dhaka, Tangail, Narayanganj, Manikganj, Rajbari, Faridpur, Gopalganj, and Patuakhali.
The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Tuesday at 38.7 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while the lowest temperature was 22.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.3 degrees Celsius.
