Light to moderate rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Wednesday at 35.1 degrees Celsius in Srimangal, while the lowest temperature was 24.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28.2 degrees Celsius.
