Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna and Barishal divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country until 6:00 pm today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Thursday at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Tangail, while the lowest temperature was 23.2 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.2 degrees Celsius.
