Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Chattogram, Barishal, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Pabna and Sayedpur and it may continue, Met Office said.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The country's highest temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Sitakunda and the lowest of 19.5 degrees in Tetulia.
