Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Rangpur and Khulna divisions, reports UNB.

It may also occur at a few places over Barishal, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls over the country in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm tofay (Thursday), reports UNB.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country, said the Met Office.

The country's highest temperature 33.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Cox's Bazar and the lowest 23.2 degrees in Srimangal.
