Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Dhaka divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday).
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, Met Office said.
The country's highest temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Nikli of Kishoreganj and the lowest of 24.0 degrees at Rangpur.
