Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm tomorrow (Thursday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the region of Rajshahi and it may abate from some places, Met Office said.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The country's highest temperature 36.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Jashore and the lowest of 23.6 degrees in Rajarhat.
