Woman found dead in city

Miscreants killed an elderly woman, as she along with her husband fell unconscious after they were fed sedative-laced food in the city's Notun Jurain early Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Samartho Begum, 65, wife of Mohammad Nurul Islam, 70. The couple was residing on the ground floor of a two-storey building at 168/1, Notun Jurain in Alambag under Kadamtoli police station. — UNB
