Woman found dead in launch cabin

KERANIGANJ, Jun 5 (UNB): Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from a launch in the city's Sadarghat Thursday morning.

Police said 'MV Parabat-10', a launch from Barisal, reached the Sadarghat Launch Terminal around 8:00 am.

While getting down from the launch, some passengers found the woman's body lying in a staff cabin and informed police. Later, law enforces recovered the body.

Mafizur Rahman, sub-inspector (SI) of Keraniganj thana, suspected that miscreants might have raped the woman and then killed her.
