Work on Karnaphuli tunnel begins in Dec next: Quader

CHITTAGONG, March 30 (BSS): Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said on Monday physical work on much- awaited tunnel under the river Karnaphuli would begin in December this year.
The minister said the government would sign a deal by June for appointing consultant for the tunnel to be built at a cost of US$ 1.0 billion.
