Work stoppage programme withdrawn

SYLHET, Mar 9 (UNB): Work stoppage programme of local transport workers, called to protest the vandalising of vehicles Saturday, was withdrawn.
The decision to withdraw the programme was taken at a joint meeting at Deputy Commissioner's office Sunday.
Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran, administration and police officials and representatives of bus owners' association attended the meeting.
