Embassy of Japan and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will jointly organise "Shodo Workshop - The Art of Japanese Calligraphy'' at National Art Gallery No.3 of Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka on May 18, 2024.
The calligraphy workshop will be conducted by Japanese calligraphy artist Satoko Azuma.
She will give a lecture on the philosophy of Japanese calligraphy and demonstrate calligraphy with a giant brush.
Then, special guests will try out calligraphy and other participants will have the opportunity to experience Japanese calligraphy with the instruction of Azuma.
