World Indigenous Day celebration begins at DU

The eight-day programmes to mark the World Indigenous Day began at the Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University (DU) Friday, reports BSS.
Noted academic Anisuzzaman was present at the inaugural function as the chief guest.
With senior journalist Syed Abul Muksud in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by Raja Debasish Roy,. Mesbah Kamal, Dalem Chandra Barmon, HKS Arefin and Sanjib Drong.
