The World Population Day will be observed in the country today (July 11) like elsewhere across the world, reports BSS.
The World Population Day was marked for the first time in 90 countries on July 11, 1990.
Bangladesh is set to celebrate the day this year through various events.
This year's there of the World Population Day is "Realizing the hopes and aspirations of young people - today and for the future."
President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman issued separate messages on the occasion.
