WUB Law Deptt organises seminar

A seminar on 'Global Legal Economy' was held at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) in the city Thursday.
Department of Law of the university organised the seminar.
Prof Sedrick D Bell of Holborn College in London was the lone speaker at the seminar while WUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury presided over the function.
Dr Bell presented a comparative discussion on business particularly e-commerce and legal procedures of information technology of the global economy-included countries of the world.
He also highlighted the necessity of these aspects in the backdrop of Bangladesh.
In the question-answer session Dr Bell also assured students of assistance in getting admitted abroad.
A large number of students and teachers of the university were present at the seminar.
Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury thanked Prof Bell for his speech and proposed for collaboration with his educational institute.
