Youth electrocuted in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG, May 29 (UNB):  A young man was electrocuted in the city's Hazari Lane area early Thursday.

The dead is Jony Dhar (27), son of late Sona Dhar of Boitali union under Chandnaish upazila of the district.

Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Pankaj Barua of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police camp said Jony came in touch with a live electrical wire around 6:00 am while working at his residence on the third floor of 'Mitali Market'.

He was rushed to the CMCH where doctors declared him dead.
