Youth held for blackmailing schoolgirl over illicit video

Natore, Mar 21 (UNB): Police arrested a youth on charge of blackmailing a schoolgirl using an illicit video footage recorded by his mobile phone at Naldanga Upazila on Friday.

The arrested was identified as Rony, son of Ishaq Ali of Baidyabelgharia village in the upazila.

Police said Rony developed an affair with the schoolgirl and recorded their intimate moment.

Later, he demanded a big sum of money from the girl's family by threat to release the video on the Internet.

Informed, police arrested Rony and seized his mobile phone containing the video.
