Police recovered the hanging body of a young man, identified as Mostafizur Rahman (20), from Meradia area in the capital on Sunday.
A team of Khilgaon Police Station recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
A police official said being informed, they rushed to the spot and broke the door of a room of a building, located at Meradia Bhuiyan Para, and recovered the hanging body.
The deceased had worked at a shop. He hailed from Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj district. His wife went to her father's house one week ago following a quarrel with him.
