The government has appointed Md Zulfiqur Rahman, currently Bangladesh Ambassador to Turkey, as the new envoy to the Republic of Korea (South Korea).
A career diplomat, Rahman had previously served in the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, Embassy in Manama and the Consulate General in Los Angeles in various capacities.
