‘Pakistan can follow BD in many areas’

Highly appreciating Bangladesh's stunning success in different fields, newly-appointed Pakistan High Commissioner (HC) in Bangladesh Suja Alam said on Thursday there are many things that Pakistan could follow Bangladesh, report agencies.

The Pakistan HC made the comments when he made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the city.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, PM's Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri said the Pakistan HC highly appreciated the recent tremendous socioeconomic developments in Bangladesh, especially in renewable energy under PM's able leadership.

Mr Suja conveyed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's greetings to Sheikh Hasina. The Bangladesh PM also extended her greetings to Sharif through the HC.
