14-party will accept people's mandate in polls: Nasim

SIRAJGANJ, Jan 28 (BSS): Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said on Sunday the 14-party will accept people's verdict in the next general election that will be held as per the constitution with participation of all political parties.
"There is no ambiguity of polls-time government", the minister said while addressing a meeting of the District Law and Order Committee in Sirajganj as the chief guest.
The minister said the judiciary of the country is independent and the trials of Bangabandhu and four national leaders murder cases were held in a legal way in the country after 20 years of their killings.
Nasim also said any person aggrieved by a trial court verdict can go to the higher court but if anyone resorts to any chaos it will not be tolerated.
Deputy commissioner Kamrun Nahar Siddique presided over the meeting. It was addressed, among others, by Zila Parishad Chairman and president of the district Awami League Abdul Latif Biswas, Selina Begum Swapna, MP, and police super Miraj Uddin Ahamed.
