14-party’s countrywide human-chain today

The 14-party alliance will form human chains today (Sunday) in all districts and upazilas across the country, including capital city, to protest against arson, killing and sabotage in the name of hartal and blockade, reports BSS.

The human chain programme will simultaneously begin at 3pm and continue until 4pm.

Meanwhile, the alliance held view-exchange programmes with lawmakers of different constituencies in the capital, leaders of Muktijoddha Sangsad, different cultural organisations, professionals' organisations, women organisations, Alem-Ulema Mashayekh, associate bodies and representative of different classes and professions of the society to make the programme a success.

According to 14-party alliance sources, human chains will be formed at 13 spots in the capital, including Gabtali, Shyamoli, Russell Square, Green Square, Hotel Sonargaon, Hotel Rupashi Bangla, Shahbagh, Paltan intersection, Bangabandhu Square, Ittefaq crossing, Rajdhani Market and Sayedabad.

Spokesman of central 14-party alliance, Awami League Presidium Member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim will supervise the human chain programme.
