BENAPOLE, July 10 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 15 people while they were entering Bangladesh from India through Putkhali border on Friday morning.
The arrestees include 11 women and four men, hailing from different areas of Bagerhat, Narail and Satkhira districts
BGB arrested them from Benapole-Putkhali road while they were entering Bangladesh from India in the morning, said company commander Ayub Ali of BGB Battalion-26.
They had been living illegally in Mumbai for long, added BGB official.
Later, they were handed over to Benapole thana.
A case was filed in this connection.
