CHITTAGONG, Mar 6 (BSS): Chittagong district police in nightlong drives arrested 17 activists of BNP-Jammat from different areas of Sitakunda Upazila Wednesday night.
Acting on secret information, Sitakunda thana police in a nightlong raids from 8.00 pm to 6.00 am arrested 17 Jammat-Shibir men from different areas of Sitakunda Upazila, Rehena Akter, Sub-inspector (SI) of Sitakunda thana said.
They were arrested on charge of their involvement in vandalism and subversive activities in different areas under the police station recently, she added.
