17 Shibir men held in city

Police arrested 17 activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from an apartment in the city's Pallabi area Tuesday night, reports UNB.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Pallabi thana police raided an apartment at block-A in Mirpur-12 and held them at about 9:00pm.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabi thana Iqbal Hossain said they conducted the raid receiving information that the Shibir activists were holding a meeting for committing sabotage in the city.
