21 BNP-Jamaat men jailed for several terms

Twenty-one leaders and activists of BNP and Jammat-e-Islami were sentenced to different jail terms in two separate sabotage cases filed with Paltan and Gulshan thanas on Monday, reports UNB.

A Dhaka court sentenced 10 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami to two years and six months in jail in a case filed with Paltan thana.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam passed the order.

Shafiqul Islam Masud, secretary of Dhaka Metro-politan South Unit Jamaat-e-Islami and Rafiqul Islam Majnu, member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South unit BNP were among the convicts.
