2,136 more arrested in countrywide drive

Police arrested 2,136 people on various charges in separate drives across the country in 24 hours till 6.00am Wednesday, reports UNB.
A total of 11 firearms, 18 cocktails and 19 rounds of bullet were also seized during the countrywide drive, said the police headquarters.
Besides, 58 motorcycles were seized during the drive for not having valid documents and 378 cases filed in this connection.
