225 BNP men sued over bomb attack on Bogra AL office

BOGRA, Sept 5 (UNB): A case has been filed against 225 leaders and activists of BNP in connection with blasting crude bombs targeting the local Awami League (AL) office that left 10 people injured.
Sultan Mahmud Khan Rony, joint convener of the town unit AL, filed the case against 25 identified and 200 unidentified BNP leaders and activists with Sadar Polcie Station Thursday.
District unit BNP president VP Saiful Islam and general secretary Joynal Abedin Chan are among the accused.
At least 10 people were injured when some miscreants blasted five crude bombs targeting the local unit AL office at Satmatha in the town around 2:30 pm on Wednesday.
Police arrested 11 people, including Sipar Al Bakhtier, president of the district unit Jubo Dal in this connection.
