As the key discussant, the DMP Commissioner said, "DMP will set up 236 formalin testing booths in 236 kitchen markets within 7/8 days and university students will assist in the effort."

Benzir said 13,000 maunds of mangoes and 3.5 million litchis have been destroyed due to formalin and carbide this season.

He said it is necessary to constitute a unified authority to work against misuse of formalin and carbide.
