33 cases filed against Razkars in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, Dec 23 (UNB): Thirty-three cases have so far been filed against 378 Razakars (Pakistani auxiliary forces) in the district for killing, looting and arson during the War of Liberation in 1971.
Meanwhile, freedom fighters and members of Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee took initiatives to make a list of war criminals in the district.
According to Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman, the cases have been recorded with six police stations of the district as per the order of the court.
He said five cases were recorded with Sadar police station while 17 with Morelganj, three with Rampal, five with Kachua, one with Sharankhola and two with Fakirhat police station since June 2008.
