CHATTOGRAM, March 1(BSS): Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP)
arrested 36 leaders and activists of Awami League (AL), Jubo League and the
banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at different parts of
the port city during the last 24 hours until 6:00 am on Saturday.
They were arrested on different charges, including attacking protesters during
the student-led July uprising, and different criminal offenses, the CMP
sources said.
