36th founding anniv of BNP to be celebrated

Opposition BNP chalked out a three-day programme to celebrate the party's 36th founding anniversary, reports UNB.

The programmes include holding discussion, hoisting party flag, placing wreaths at the grave of party founder and bringing out a colourful procession.

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office after a joint meeting of the party and its associate bodies.

The meeting, held with BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, finalised the programmes.
