53 injured victims of July uprising get Tk 0.1m each

KHULNA, Mar 9 (BSS): Fifty-three persons who sustained injuries during student-led

mass uprising last year were given financial assistance of Tk 0.1 million each.

Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter handed over the cheques for financial support at a function organised by July Shaheed Smrity Foundation at Khulna Shilpokola Academy on Sunday.

Address the occasion Farida Akhter said the Interim government is committed to providing financial support and treatment to the injured persons of July movement as long as it is required.

She urged all to build social resistance against all violence and repression against women.
