57 crude bombs, gunpowder recovered

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive recovered 57 crude bombs and nearly two kilogram gunpowder in an abandoned condition in the Oli Baba Mazar Road area near the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology(RUET) campus early Sunday, reports UNB.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Khaleda Begum, operations officer of RAB-5, said being tipped off, a team of RAB-5 conducted a drive in the area around 12:45am on Sunday and recovered huge quantity of explosives.

However, none was arrested in the incident.
