6 Hizbut Tawhid men arrested

RAJSHAHI, Oct 9 (UNB): Six suspected activists of outlawed Hizbut Tawhid, including a septuagenarian, were arrested from Motihar area in the city Sunday.
On secret information, a RAB team raided the house of Sujan Mia in the morning when 12 or 14 members of the outlawed Islamic group were allegedly holding an organisational meeting. Six of them were held along with publicity materials while others managed to flee. Those arrested were Altaf Hossain (70), and Sujan Mia, Sajal, Mina Begum, Monika Begum and Shikha Parvin. They were later handed over to Motihar police.
