7th March speech was a direction for liberation: Tofail

BHOLA, Dec 23 (BSS): Minister of Industries Tofail Ahmed said on Saturday the 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a direction for the War of Liberation.

"Sheikh Mujibur Rahman united the whole nation by his speech on that day in 1971" the minister added.

Tofail Ahmed made the remarks while addressing as the chief guest a discussion on Victory Day at Fatema Khanom College in Sadar Upazila of the district.

Tofail Ahmed said the regimes which came to power after the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman distorted the national history.
