91-member AL S Korea unit formed

A 91-member committee of Awami League (AL) South Korea unit has been formed with S N Siraji Robin and M Shahidul Islam Hasan as president and general secretary respectively, according to a message received in Dhaka Monday, reports BSS.

The committee was formed at a general meeting of the expatriate Bangladeshis living in South Korea at the Konkuk University auditorium of Seoul last week with S N Siraji Robin in the chair.

The meeting gave approval to the 91-member committee of AL South Korea unit for two years (2014 and 2015) aiming at enhancing the image of Bangladesh abroad.

The other members of the committee are M Rafiqul Islam (Bhutto), M Ripon, M Mamun Siraji, M Runo, M Bablu and M Shah Alam.
