Abbas cleared in explosives case

BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas has been acquitted in a case of violence, reports bdnews24.com.
Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court Sunday indicted 19 other accused in the case filed with Motijheel police for obstructing police duty, sabotage and exploding crude bombs.
Abbas, convenor of BNP's Dhaka metropolitan committee, had sought acquittal in the case before.
